Charles Owens' - Music Pages
I was born and raised down in eastern North Carolina. Since I can
remember I have been fascinated with music and musical
instruments, especially the guitar. Although I have a number of
years of formal music training, I am basically a saloon piano and
guitar player. I am old enough, and fortunate enough to have
been involved with the sixties folk music scene and even got a little
television exposure with my folk music trio back then. I admit to
having loved Peter, Paul and Mary; Gordon Lightfoot and John
Denver while, at the same time, being blown away by the Beatles,
Eric Clapton and Steely Dan. I still play lead guitar in a Beach
Music/Rock n’ Roll band.
Sometimes in life things just seem to click and it’s a great feeling.
Music is the thing that clicks for me.
